So we found out that we are going to be adding another little one to our family on October 14. It is a little girl that is going to be named Irelynd Ann Marie Plemons. We are super excited to add a new beautiful little kid to this family. She is going to be one lucky little girl to have 2 big brothers to watch out for her. And oh by will they especially Lucas. All he can talk about is everything he is going to do for his new baby girl. Hopefully I can make it through this nasty hot summer and not be to miserable and fat!

Lucas' first day of School!

Well here are the pictures of Lucas on his first day of Pre-K. I am still in shock that he is old enough to go to school already. Luckily here in Texas Pre-K is part of the school system and because we are military we qualify. He goes to an amazing school which is rated very high. This is his teachers first year teaching alone but she is a natural and is awesome with the kids! Before I know it I am going to have pictures to post of Kyle going to school!

This is the result of me asking him to smile for Grandma & Mamaw. I tried this a couple of times and kept getting this result. All the teachers were laughing so hard over this.

Summer Road Trip

So this summer we went on a road trip. We all loaded up in the van, including the dog, and drove to Colorado where my grandma lives, just 2 days after Toby had ankle surgery. He was stuck in the back with his leg propped up and drugged out. Quite an adventure I must say. We met my parents and my brother and his family there for one of my cousins wedding. The boys had a blast romping around on the farm. Of course Lucas walked around the place like he was the coolest cowboy around! They got to collect the eggs, help feed the goats, horses, and chickens, ride the 4 wheelers, and just run around like crazy! Needless to say they had a blast. Then after that we headed down to Las Vegas for a week to see my family. We got to see good friends we haven't seen for a while and spend a lot of time with my parents, which my boys love. The boys were soooooo spoiled it wasn't even funny. But I guess that is what grandparents are suppose to do. Then we packed up and headed back to good ole' Texas. When we were less than an hour away from home I got pulled over and got a stinkin' speeding ticket. Dang-o Texas Highway Patrol. I was only going barely 8 miles an hour over the speed limit, keep in mind while staying with the flow of traffic, but I guess the old fart from the Podunk town doesn't have anything better to do than pull over hot mamas in pimpin mini vans. So now I am stuck with doing an online traffic school. But other than that we had a pretty good road trip. I am glad we were able to go since we will be moving in about 5 months! Unfortunately I have no idea where Toby has the pictures from this trip so I will have to put them up later!

Kyle's 2nd Birthday

So this is really late but here are some pictures of Kyle on his 2nd birthday. He had to open up his presents in the church parking lot because I had enrichment and that was the only time we had to do it. I can't believe he is 2 already. I am so lucky to be a mom to such an adorable little boy with such a big personality! I just wish when he gets older he will be this happy over lame little presents! I still can't believe my baby is 2!

Since Lucas and Kyle have birthdays that are so close together we had a combined Batman & Superman Superhero Birthday Party! It was a blast. We had it at the house and had a pool and slip and slide for the kids to play in. Lucas has wanted Batman to come to his birthday since he started planning it 7 months ago. So we were able to get Batman to come and Lucas was totally excited. Lucas had to show Batman all his new things. It was so cute. Kyle was a little afraid of Batman at first but then warmed up to him. We are so grateful for all our friends that we got to celebrate our boy's birthday party with. We sure are lucky. It turned out to be a great party! Glad I don't have to worry about a Birthday Party for at least another year!!!!

So Lucas is now 4. Wow how time flies when you have kids. He thinks he is so grown up now that he is 4. He will be starting Pre-K this fall and is so excited that he is going to be going to his big boy school. Yet I think that I am the most excited about Pre-K. Since Lucas' & Kyle's birthday are so close together we had a combined birthday party for them. It was a Batman (for Lucas) and Superman (for Kyle) Superhero party. Trip to Rockport to see Sea Turtles

So in early February we went down to Rockport to see the Sea Turtles that the Marine Biologists found washed up on the shore. They were taking care of them until it was warm enough to release them back. But most the turtles were sick or missing fins or something from shark attacks so they are keeping them because it is very likely they will not survive long in the wild. It was so neat and fun. We are so lucky that we know a Marine Biologist who show us neat thing that are not open to the public. We always have a blast when we go to Rockport. We just can't wait until this summer so when we go it is warm enough to go swimming.

So it is Spring now and so green and beautiful with tons of wild flowers here. It has been a really wet year so now the humidity is really crazy. But I love how beautiful it is here so I don't mind. We are doing really well and loving life right now. Toby is going to be leaving on several trips soon so we will be sad to see him go. Also we found out he is going to have to have another heart surgery. I just hope this one works so we don't have to go through more invasive surgery's. Also he is going to have to have ankle surgery as well. I swear he is falling apart and he isn't even 30 yet. I (Kelli) am doing pretty good. I have recently lost 20lbs and still loosing. I feel great and loving it. Before too long I will have all my baby weight gone. Pretty sad it has taken me almost 4 years since I first put it on with Lucas. I have been keep really busy with these 2 crazy boys and everything else that is always going on here. Lucas is growing up so fast. He played soccer this year and today starts baseball. He also has been taken swimming lessons and is such a fish. I can't believe he is almost 4 years old. I don't know where time goes. Kyle is finally starting to grow and is getting big. And along with growing his attitude sure has grown too. But he still is the sweet little boy too. He is really starting to talk and of course that is exciting. He is just so fun and we love it. We just love having these boys and they bring us so much joy. We just wish that they didn't fight ALL the time. I am afraid of how it will be when they are older because they are already wrestling and punching each other all the time. They are definately all boy through and through. They are really excited because this weekend we are taking them camping for the first time. It is all Lucas can talk about right now. Lucas and his buddy are so excited because they are going to be sleeping in a Lightning McQueen tent all by themselves. We will see how long they stay in there before they get scared and climb in bed with us.

I'm a slacker

So I have been a major slacker lately! Lots has been going on but not much time to blog. But I will try harder. I will try to post pictures later. The boys are getting so big and Lucas has been in swimming lessons and soccer. In a couple of weeks he will be starting baseball and he loves it. Keeps him busy. But of course his favorite thing is swimming lessons. He is a little fish. He is very advanced for his age and swimming level. So pretty soon we will have a little swimmer. Also I am a new aunt. My brother had a beautiful baby girl in January. I am excited because in May I get to go see her and stay and visit with my favorite brother and sister-in-law! Toby has had several health problems but things are getting a lot better. And for me I am looking in going back to school soon. Scary but exciting. We will see where that goes! Also back in January me and Toby were able to go to Hawaii for our 4th anniversary! It was so amazing. We also got to take yet another trip down to Rockport and it was amazing. I guess there are perks to living in Texas. Other than that we are enjoying life right now.

Mamaw Visit to San Antonio

Toby's mom came for a visit from Tennessee. The day after she got here was Toby's Academy graduation so she was excited to go to that. Then of course we had the go to a pumpkin patch, Rockport for the beach, and Seaworld. What grandma doesn't like to see her grandkids have fun. She was here for almost 2 weeks and was able to spend Halloween with us. Toby's little brother Brian and his wife Sammy came down from Shreveport also to spend Halloween weekend with us. Lucas and Kyle were both sad when they all left. Especially when the dogs left. Lucas wants one sooooo bad. We keep telling him once he starts using the potty we will get him a dog but I guess he doesn't want one that bad. Enjoy the pictures. I know I am a slacker and never update this thing.

It is so beautiful there. That will definately be one of the major things I will miss about Texas when we leave. We are going back in 2 weeks with Grandma and Papa so we are quite excited!

He keeps me very very busy but he is well worth it. He has definately been by far one of the greatest blessings in our lives as well as Lucas.

On Sunday Toby went out to get the newspaper and this puppy came up to him and would not leave. She started camping out on our front porch and would not leave. She loves Toby and did not want to leave him. She would follow him everywhere. We tried to find the owner but we weren't able to so we found a home for the puppy. She lives out in Bandera Texas on a farm. She is a 4 month old Blue Heeler and will be a great cattle dog. I am glad we were able to find her a good home and not have to bring her to the pound. But poor Lucas cried his eyes out when we drove away from dropping her off. He kept saying I want my doggy. I want my doggy. We had to have a long talk about how she wasn't his dog and when he potty trains then he will get a dog. As much as I don't want a dog, I will do anything right now to have Lucas potty trained. After Lucas got over that the dog was not coming home with us he then started crying about wanting to go back to the farm and ride the horses. Poor little boy. He would make such a good little farm boy. Then after Lucas got over the fact that he can not go back and ride the horses right now, he continued to tell us that Tuff and Harley are dead (my parents dogs). Well Harley is dead, he passed away the day after Thanksgiving, but Tuff sure isn't. So he had us talking about Tuff being dead the entire way home and refused to believe that he isn't. I love that little boy. He sure does make us laugh. Those of you who really know Lucas can probably get a good laugh about some of the things he says too.

The last couple weeks have been quite eventful. The boys have been growing like weeds and learning all sorts of things. Lucas is such a big boy. He is forever asking millions of questions and putting together really good sentences. It is crazy to think that I never thought he would ever be able to talk so that we could understand him. Just the other day he came up to me and said "Papa is dead." I had to tell him no Lucas Harley Papas doggie is dead and in heaven. It cracks me up to think what could be going on in his head to come up to me and say that. So we had to call Papa and let Lucas talk to him so he knew he wasn't dead. And Kyle is crawling EVERYWHERE. He also pulls himself up on everything and walks along it. Before I know it he will be walking and I will be in BIG trouble. Then Lucas will be able to show him all the naughty things he does. Boy will I be in trouble then. Also Kyle had his 8 month progress test and he is considered above average. We are so excited because he is doing above and beyond what was expected after his fall. He is doing many things that most babys his age can not do. We are so happy that Kyle is such an amazing baby. But we knew he had to be because look how great his big brother is! Also we are counting down until we go to Las Vegas. It is One month and one day now. My poor parents are going to be stuck with their favorite daughter and their wonderful grand boo boo's for a month and a half. I am soooooooo excited. So is Lucas. Everyday about a hundred times he says he wants to go on an airport plane to Grandma's house. Soon enough we will be and we will get to see lots of good friends and family!

But as you can tell Kyle was like get me away from this lady! I guess she was on Jerry Springer because she needed some money so she pretended to be having an affair with a dwarf. It was quite an interesting evening.

It has now been almost 4 months since our little Kyle was in the PICU and he is doing great! We thought it might delay him some but he is actually above average! Also all his skull fractures are healed. And there won't be any long term affects! I am so proud of my boy! Maybe he should have been our Kal-el (superman). I could never ask for a better little chunkin than Ky-Ky James! Oh but I can't leave out his big brother Lucas. He is the bestest big brother ever and has helped his baby out on his road to recovery!

I got a call the other day from my older sister and she told me she is getting married. I am so happy and excited for her. It made me think about my own wedding and I came across this picture. It is me at my wedding with my maid of honor and best friend Angie! Of course I look like a whale but I was almost 5 months pregnant! I loved my wedding. Sometimes I wish I could go back and take in all the happiness all over agian since wedding days seem to fly by way too fast!
